Pre-Listering

I felt really honoured that I could attend at the pre-listening session of Tarja’s new album “Colours In The Dark” on the 1st of July.

Now I would like to share my impressions with you. This new album is not just a simple “next album” by Tarja, it’s also new in a sense that Tarja has ventured to new territories. Tarja has not made this album alone, and you can feel that the songs were written with love and courage. And this feeling may idemnify the listeners for getting only 10 songs. But now I would like to give my personal impressions on the songs which often gave me goosebumps. (Which is very rare for me except if we are talking about The Lion King musical.)

1. Victim Of Ritual
The beginning of the song is classical, but it’s also rocky and faster at the same time. You just want to jump up and down and dance to it. It might be surprising that despite of its title the song is not a typical “ritual song”. It has a great finale.

2. 500 Letters
The story behind this song was inspired by a personal experience that Tarja had with a “very enthusiastic” fan. It’s a bold song with its confident lyrics and punching music. The song has a message which tells that complete strangers should leave her alone.

3. Lucid Dreamer
The song invites you into a dreamy fairy tale, but later it gets a bit scary. When the song started to play, the beginning of Lordi’s Blood Red Sandman and a horror movie (Evil Death) came to my mind. Naomi’s sudden loud voice gives you the shivers, because you wouldn’t expect a sweet baby to make that sound. I can’t wait to listen to this song live.

4. Never Enough
One of the strongest songs of Tarja. It starts out hard and you can really feel that Tarja is singing from the soul. The story behind the song is a kind of reckoning with the past and this story is accompanied by the powerful and solid sound of the guitar.

5. Mystique Voyage
With the chanting Tarja is inviting us into her world. It really gives me goosebumps. Also here Tarja uses her normal voice for the first time on this album. It’s not a classical piece, but not rock either. It has a totally new kind of music which is hard to describe. For me this is the best song on the album, which really captures you and stays in your head.

6. Darkness
The creepy beginning takes you by the hand and leads you towards darkness. It has a chilly atmosphere. However the song is searching for the light and will lead you to freedom in the end.

7. Deliverance
The first notes of the song promise some relaxation after escaping from the darkness. But as the song goes on, it turns into a violent storm. When I heard the music and the singing, it reminded me of Anteroom Of Death.

8. Neverlight
The title might give you the impression that this song will be a ballad. But the harder elements like those of what death metal songs have make you forget about this. Again Tarja’s powerful vocals together with the sound of the violin gave me goosebumps. The end of the song stays in your head as it fades into the next one, and you need some seconds to realize that "oh, it's the next song playing now".

9. Until Silence
A rock ballad that captivates its listeners. There is some chanting in this song as well, and it’s easy to understand the meaning behind this piece.

10. Medusa (feat. Justin Furstenfeld)
The beginning reminds me of Dark Star, but the hard and noble riffs, which interrupt the song, make me think of the sound of sirens. This destroys the illusion of a ballad and you can feel that something is about to come. Justin Furstenfeld's voice is the bomb. I don’t really like explodes and loud and powerful screams, but this force appears in the lyrics as well.

Overall impression:

Tarja went into a new direction with this album. It doesn't follow the trend of a concept album. Each song is a different story/world that really captures you and won’t let you go. You can feel the love that all the musicians, who worked on the album, put into it.

I can’t wait to hear these songs live. On all the four cover artworks of the CD, the people betray their leader who knows how to read colours. Every colour has its dark side.

If you love the music, you should get this album. It was worth the wait and I can’t wait to get this into my collection.

Am 1.7. hatte ich die große Ehre. Das neue Album "Colour in the Dark" von Tarja vorab zu hören.

Jetzt möchte ich meine Eindrücke festhalten. Was ich hören durfte ist  nicht nur ein neues Album einer ausnahme Künstlerin, sondern auch ein neues, in dem Sinn, das Tarja für sich auch etwas neues gewagt hat. Man spührt das die Lieder mit Liebe und Mut geschrieben wurden und das Tarja dieses Album nicht alleine gestaltet hat, was dafür entschädig das es nur 10 Lieder sind und nicht mehr.;) Aber nun beschreibe ich meine persönlichen Eindrücke der Lieder, die mir teilweise eine Gänsehaut verpasst haben, was selten der Fall ist, außer bei der Musik vom König der Löwen das Musical.

 01. Victim of Ritual
Der Beginn ist klassisch, doch in dem Moment wo man glaubt dieses Lied bleibt so. Wird es rockig und schneller und man möchte nur aufspringen und Tanzen zu dem Lied, auch hier wird man überrascht das das Lied sich nicht an allbekannten "Lieder-Ritualen" hält und mit einem tollen Schluss endet.

02. 500 Letters
In diesem Lied verarbeitet Tarja eine persönliche Begebenheit mit einem "sehr begeisterten Fan". Ein mutiges Lied das durch seinen starken und selbstbewussten Text, wie auch mit seiner fesselten Musik. Dazu ermutig sich das Leben von keinem fremden Menschen wegnehmen zu lassen.

03. Lucid Dreamer  
Ein Lied das zum Träumen in einem Märchen einläd, doch je weiter das Lied ist um so grusseliger wird es. Bei dem Lied kommt mir die Anfangsnoten von "Blood Red Sandmann" von Lordi in den Sinn, sowie eines Horrorfilm (Arme der Finsterne oder auch Evil Death). Bei Naomi´s Lauten bekommt man eine Gänsehaut, weil man nicht damit rechent das plötzlich süße Babylaute ertönen. Ich kann es kaum abwarten dieses Lied Live zuhören.

04. Never Enough
Eins der stärksten Lieder von Tarja. Fängt hart an und man fühlt richtig das Tarja sich bei diesem Lied, was von der Seele singt. Eine Abrechnung mit der Vergangenheit, die mit dem harten aber auch Kraftvollen Gitarrensound untermalt wird.

05. Mystique Voyage
Beim Einsetzten Sprechgesang, wo Tarja uns in ihre Welt einläd. Erfährt mich eine wahre Gänsehaut die bis ins Mark geht. Was noch untermalt wird, das Tarja hier zum ersten mal ihre "normale" Singstimme einsetzt. Dieses Lied ist keine Klassik aber auch kein Rock. Eine wirklich neue Art von Musik, die man nicht ohne weiteres beschreiben kann. Für mich das Besste Lied des Albums, dass einen gefangen nimmt und nicht so schnell wieder loslässt.:)

06. Darkness
Ein Schauriger Anfang der einen bei der Hand nimmt und immer weiter in die Dunkelheit führt. Das man wirklich das Gefühlt hat von ihr umgeben zu sein und nach dem Licht sucht, der einen in die Freiheit führt.

07. Deliverance
Die Anfangstöne verheissen ein Lied zum Erholen, nachdem man der Dunkelheit entkommen ist. Doch je weiter das Lied läuft um so heftiger wird der Musiksturm und beim einsetztem Gesang wurde ich das Gefühl nicht los in der Fortsetztung von "Anterroom of Death" zu sein.

08. Neverlight
Beim Titel möchte man an eine Ballade denke. Doch der Harte einstieg wie bei einem Death Metal Song macht diesen Gedanken nieder. Kaum erklingt Tarjas Gesang jagt erneut eine Gänsehaut über den Körper der nicht besser wird, wenn die Geige erklingt. Das Ende von diesem Lied klingt noch nach, obwohl es zu Ende ist und das nächste schon ans Öhr klopft.

09. Until Silence
Eine rockige Ballade die seine Hörer fesselt. Der Sprechgesang tut sein übriges, bei diesem Lied einfach inne zu halten und die Bedeutung der Worte aufzunehmen und zu verstehen.

10. Medusa (feat. Justin Furstenfeld)
Der Anfang erinnert an das Lied "Dark Star". Aber durch die Unterbrechung mit Harten und starken Riffs und edel anmuteten Sirenenlauten. Wird hier geschickt die Illusion von einer Ballade zerstört und man spürt da kommt noch was auf einem zu! Justin Furstenfeld´s Stimme ist diese Bombe. Die nicht wie anzunehmen in einen lauten und kraftvollen Schreilaut explodiert, sondern beide lege dieses in die Worte.

 Gesamt Eindruck:
Tarja hat mit diesem Album einen neuen Weg eingeschlagen. Den Trend zum Konzept-Album ist sie nicht gegangen. Jedes Lied ist eine Geschichte, die einem gefangen nimmt und nicht eher loslässt bis ein anderer ausschaltet oder der Strom ausfällt. Man spührt die Liebe von allen Musikern die am Album mitgearbeitet haben.
Man kann es kaum abwarten diese Lieder Live und in Farbe zu hören. Die vier CD`s Covers führer den Fan in die Irre und doch verraten sie einem Alles, der weiss wie die Farben zu lesen sind;), denn jede Farbe hat auch seine dunkele Seite.
Wer Musik liebt, wird dieses Album einmal gehört nie wieder missen. Das warten hat sich gelohnt und ich kann es kaum abwarten diese Album in meine Sammlung einzu verleiben.

Morning people!

I just wanted to tell you I deleted my profile on Myspace.
Since this "new adaptation" I have rubbed the tears in the eyes.
I'm sorry for my contacts that I had to give up.
But I do not see that I'm practically forced to find my way around with a really confusing control panel. Function with which one gets pressed, you do not need yourself. And a few more things, my main reason is displayed my full name and I do not want this! I just do not want to be boomed with all kinds of information and additional functions.
That's why I deleted my profile, I have no desire vexed me so. You understand!
 It is a pity, because I was a member there since 2002. But what is too much is too much. I am a simple man and want something without a lot of effort to hear my music and watch news. Of bands and musicians I like.
But this new Myspace ...
It's worse than TV advertising! I can not write without starting to cry again. Why to do people this! Why not leave it the same.
Small changes are okay, but not all at once and my all users don´t look through what it should be better!
It's the same as with Outlook and Hotmail. The main thing to do something new, whether you like it or not all.
It's worse like in The Matrix!

 As I said, I do not want my name is public! I want to edit my profile without easy way to look great after the setting. See news from friends and acquaintances. Without fear, when I write a review, without the world to know my full name.

And I'll say it again! I have no iphone! And I also do not need a Iphone! Therefore I do not understand it when you all so remodels, just so it's easier for iPhone users and not for others more!

Morgen Leute!

Ich wollte euch nur mitteilen das ich mein Profil auf Myspace gelöscht habe.
Da diese "Neuanpassung" mir die Tränen in die Augen gerieben haben.
Es tut mir leid für meine Kontakte die ich aufgeben musste.
Doch ich sehe es nicht ein das ich quarzi gezwungen werde, mich mit einem wirklich unübersichtlichen Bedienfeld zurecht zufinden. Mit Funktion die man aufgedrückt bekommt, die man selbst nicht braucht. Und noch ein paar Dinge mehr, mein Hauptgrund ist, das mein voller Name angezeigt wird und dies möchte ich nicht! Genauso möchte ich nicht mit allerhand Information und Zusatzfunktionen zugeballert werden.
Deshalb habe ich mein Profil gelöscht, ich habe keine Lust mehr mich damit rumzuärgern. Ihr versteht!
Es ist schade, da ich seit 2002 dort mitglied war. Aber was zu viel ist ist zuviel. Ich bin ein etwas einfacher Menschen und möchte ohne viel aufwand meine Musik hören und Neuigkeiten sehen. Von Bands und Musikern ich ich mag.
Aber diese neue Myspace...
Es ist schlimmer als Fernsehenwerbung! Ich kann nicht weiter schreiben ohne wieder anzufangen zu weinen. Warum machen die Leute das! Warum lassen sie es nicht beim Alten.
Kleine Änderungensind ok, aber nicht alles auf einmal und meinen alle Benutzer blicken  da durch, was es so besser sein soll!
Es ist das gleiche wie bei Outlook und Hotmail. Hauptsache man macht was neues, egal ob es allen gefällt oder nicht.
Ist ja schlimmer wie in der Matrix!

Wie gesagt, ich möchte nicht dass mein Name öffentlich ist! Ich möchte auf leichtem Weg mein Profil bearbeiten ohne groß nach den Einstellung zu suchen. Neuigkeiten von Bekannten und Freunden einsehen. Ohne Angst, wenn ich einen Kommentar schreibe, ohne dass die Welt meinen vollständigen Namen weiß.

Und ich sage es erneut! Ich habe kein Iphone! Und ich brauche auch kein Iphone! Deshalb verstehe ich es auch nicht, wenn man alles so umbaut, nur damit es für Iphonenutzer einfacher ist und für andere nicht mehr!

Einen tollen Tag und bye bye Myspape. Möge die Seite in Frieden ruhen, die ich einst zu sehr liebte!

Hotmail vs. Outlook

English:
When I this afternoon (3.4) would check my emails, I got kicked in the butt again.
Without warning, I was redirected to Outlook! At the edge I missed it, which you can change by itself. But I did not, because my Outlook too confusing and seemed cheap. I was always satisfied with Hotmail, as I have a solid PC and Internet-enabled have no wants or.
To put it simply to say. Outlook not even met in my approach claims to a good service provider. The improved features are worse than the previous. Nearly three hours it took me to the panels for "delete", "answers" to find "Move". And "Welcome Email" from the Outlook team approach was not helpful.

 The design possibilities are ridiculous. A color change does not improve a page that remain cumbersome functions. The others Offered additional programs I would not either.

 A few months ago I tried Skydrive. For me, too complicated! The calendar I do not need because I have a calendar to keep paper tightly around my schedule. The permanently on-line I would not be around to have to look up dates.I find nothing but functions to these both programs, but not how to delete them permanently.

 Also connect to networks I would not because I would like for personal reasons at these dear Log.
I want my Hotmail account again! This e-mail service was perfect for my needs! It works with the advertising (which was not zugeschnittten on me.) Sometimes a bit annoying but all the features you could see at a glance and immediately understand because you did not have to look for. So you need no help-link. And the site is slow. Why everything has to always be new and better, even if it is not the end.
Outlook loses for me at this point. Hotmail is easier to use and does not by its construction as an Apple copy.

Als ich heute Nachmittag (3.4) meine Emails abfragen wollte, wurde ich wieder einmal in den Hintern getreten.
Ohne eine Vorwarnung wurde ich auf Outlook umgeleitet! Am Rand habe ich es mitbekommen, das man von sich aus umstellen kann. Aber ich wollte nicht, weil Outlook mir zu unübersichtlich und billige vorkam. Ich war immer mit Hotmail zufrieden, da ich einen festen Pc habe und kein Internetfähiges habe bzw haben möchte.

Um es mal einfach zu sagen. Outlook erfüllt nicht mal im Ansatz meine Ansprüche an einen guten Dienstleister. Die verbessert Funktionen sind schlechter als die vorherige.  Fast drei Stunden brauchte ich um die Bedienfelder für "Löschen", "Antworten", "Verschieben" zu finden. Und die "Begrüßungsemail" vom Outlook-Team war nicht im Ansatz hilfreich.
 Die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten sind lächerlich. Ein Farbwechseln macht eine Seite nicht besser, die unhandlichen Funktionen bleiben. Die andern Angebotenen ZusatzProgramme möchte ich auch nicht.
 Vor einigen Monaten habe ich Skydrive ausprobiert. Für mich zu umständlich! Den Kalender Brauche ich nicht, da ich einen Kalender aus Papier habe um meine Termine fest zu halten. Das ständig online sein möchte ich nicht sein um Termine nachschlagen zu müssen.
Ich finde lauter Funktionen zu diesen Beiden Programmen, aber nicht wie man diese dauerhaft löschen kann.

Auch Verbindungen zu Netzwerken möchte ich nicht, da ich aus persönlichen Grunden Lieber bei diesen Anmelden möchte.

Ich möchte meinen Hotmail Account wieder haben! Diese Email-Dienst war für meine Zwecke perfekt! Es wirkt mit der Werbung ( die nicht auf mich zugeschnittten war.) Manchmal etwas nervig, aber alle Funktionen konnte man mit einem Blick sehen und gleich verstehen, da man nicht nach suchen musste. Da braucht man auch keine Hilfe-link. Und die Seite ist langsam.  Warum muss immer alles neuer und besser werden, auch wenn es am Ende es nicht ist.

Outlook verliert für mich an dieser Stelle. Hotmail ist einfacher in Bedienung und wirkt durch seinen Aufbau nicht wie eine Apple-Kopie

Sleepless Nights -Schlaflose Nächte.

 Are some time I need to sleep late one because my thoughts revolve around an incident. Which was reported in the news.

It's about a young woman who was raped allegedly. An emergency room doctor took care of the young woman and asked her a prescription for "the morning after" pill from. Then the doctor phoned two Catholic hospitals, so that the doctors there to back up the tracks for the police. But these hospitals denied supplying these. The reasoning was, otherwise you would have to yes "for the pill after" prescribe this and wanted / she should not. Since it is forbidden in the Catholic Church, because it would otherwise murder. Even when the doctor said that the young woman had been the recipe and it was all about securing court-relevant tracks. Even after this statement, the hospital wanted to make this important investigation.

The excuse of the Cardinal and his spokesman were like out of this world. Even church organizations that are close to the Catholic Church found the banal statement: "The morning after pill is murder." more than relatitäts away. Because it attacks the integrity of the body of the woman.

This I feel also. Times are already more than long past when women were only there to serve the blind man and have children. The-morning-after pill is the birth control pill is a real life saver!

It sounds stupid but it is so! Because that women are no longer forced, either by the company or from reliösen reason that discharge child of a rape. Even for me, who still has no children, it is a terrible idea to have to carry the child of my rapist and then to love it, because you would expect from a woman holding. Even the much-lauded for adoption would be nothing but what would this child!. If it because in papers read dignity: 
"The woman wants to ... not make contact with the child ..... As it comes, according to the mother of a rape ..." 
The morning after pill prevents ovulation by hormones and by the "emergence" a child and this is not a murder! 
Murder is for me when desperate women kill the child after birth because their other outlets were blocked. You should have children, if you are prepared and have a right partner at his side. Children have to be only for children is outdated. So old and lives far as the opinion of the Catholic Church and other faiths actuations can not move with the times.

 Luckily the boy was in another hospital but still treated and I hope that you find their legged and punished.

And the Catholic Church should even really question themselves!

Seid einiger Zeit brauche ich lange zum ein schlafen, weil meine Gedanken um einen Vorfall drehen. Der in den Nachrichten berichtet wurde.

Es geht um eine junge Frau die mutmaßlich vergewaltigt wurde. Eine Notärztin versorgte die Junge Frau und stellte ihr eine Rezept für "die Pille danach" aus. Dann telefonierte die Ärztin mit zwei katholischen Krankenhäuser, damit die dortigen Ärzte die Spuren für die Polizei sichern sollten.
Aber diese Krankenhäuser verweigerten diese Versorgung. Die Begründung war, sonst müssten man ja "die Pille für danach" verschreiben und dies wollten/ dürften sie nicht. Da es in der katholischen Kirche verboten sei, weil es sonst Mord wäre.
Selbst als die Ärztin erklärte das die junge Frau das Rezept schon habe und es nur um die Sicherung von Gerichtsrelevanten Spuren ging. Auch nach dieser Aussage wollte die Krankenhäuser diese wichtige Untersuchung nicht machen.

Die Entschuldigen des Kardinals und seines Sprechers wirkten wie nicht von dieser Welt. Selbst Kirchenverbände, die der Katholischen Kirche nahe stehen fanden die banal Aussage: "Die Pille danach sei Mord." mehr als relatitäts fern. Denn es greift in die unversehrtheit des Körpers der Frau an.

Dies empfinde ich auch. Die Zeiten sind schon mehr als lange vorbei, wo Frauen nur dazu da waren den Mann blind zu dienen und Kinder zu bekommen.
Die-Pille-danach ist mit der Anti-Baby-Pille ein richtiger Lebensretter!

Es hört sich blöd an ist aber so! Denn dadurch werden Frauen nicht mehr gezwungen, sei es von der Gesellschaft oder aus reliösen Grund, dass Kind einer Vergewaltigung auszutragen. Selbst für mich, die noch keine Kinder hat, ist es eine grausame Vorstellung das Kind meines Vergewaltigers austragen zu müssen und es dann zu lieben, weil man es von einer Frau halt erwartet.
Selbst die viel gepriesene Freigabe zur Adoption wäre nichts, denn was würde dieses Kind tun?!. Wenn es in denn Papieren lesen Würde:
"Die Frau ... möchte keinen Kontakt mit dem Kind .... aufnehmen. Da es nach Angaben durch die Mutter aus einer Vergewaltigung stammt..."
Die Pille danach, verhindert durch Hormone den Eisprung und dadurch die "Entstehung" eines Kindes und dies ist kein Mord!!!
Mord ist für mich, wenn verzweifelte Frauen das Kind nach der Geburt umbringen, weil ihnen andere Auswege versperrt wurden.
Man sollte Kinder bekommen, wenn man bereit ist und eine richtigen Partner an seiner Seite hat. Nur Kinder zu haben um Kinder zu haben ist veraltet. So veraltet und Lebensfern wie die Meinung der Katholischen Kirche und andere Glaubensrichtigungen die nicht mit der Zeit gehen können.

Zum Glück wurde die junge Frau in einem andern Krankenhaus doch noch behandelt und ich hoffe sehr das man ihren Peiniger finden und bestrafen.
Und die Katholische Kirche sollte mal wirklich sich selbst hinterfragen!
